All ages, free. Enjoy a walk along one of Arvada’s 149+ miles of trails with an experienced naturalist to answer all your nature-related questions along the way. Deer, coyotes, owls…you never know what we might see! An email with the walk location will be sent to all registered participants the week of the program.
Geared toward ages 2-12 yrs, free. Connect with your little ones in our Nature Explore Space. Try new activities or simply free play in nature with wood cookies, forts, and more. Dress for the weather-outdoors only.
Saturday, August 21 & Saturday, September 18, various times Ages 4-9 yrs, free. Anything can happen when you spend an hour out in nature! Go on a scavenger hunt, build the best stick house anyone has ever seen, sketch a flashy bird, discover hidden insects, and so much more.
